Bizarre Claims: "Mad Gambari's" Killed Yakowa Azazi and four others Asari Dokubo Claima

This Primitive Arrogance and Madness of the Gambaris Must End Now! By Asari Dokubo

While I was still dumbfounded by the disastrous news of the naval helicopter crash that was said to have been caused by an explosion on Saturday, 15th December 2012 in which the Governor of Kaduna State, Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa; a former Chief of Defence Staff and National Security Adviser, Andrew Owoye Azazi and four others were killed, I was dazed further by a decapitating post by a contact of mine on facebook: Aminu Gadzama, whose facebook photo albums are littered with pictures of him dressed in military combat uniform and fully armed, in training with other agents of destruction somewhere, posted the following on his facebook status: “One stone downs two birds, collateral damage avoided = intelligence warfare”. What could be the logic of this? I would have ignored him if not for his previous pro-Gambari warmongering vituperations.

As a matter of logic, Aminu’s statement means that he is applauding a military operation in which one enemy attack killed two targets with minimal destruction of lives and properties. To further buttress his point, he made another post on facebook in which he claimed that by the downing of the duo of Yakowa and Azazi, they have been able to show that they are a league of doers; and doers do not rant on the pages of newspaper but take the battle to their cowardly targets. These statements bring some questions to mind which the Nigerian Military Intelligence, the investigating teams set up by the President and the Navy must insist that he provides answers to in the bid to unravelling the immediate and remote causes of the helicopter explosion and the resultant death of two high profile allies of the President.

1. Is this a terrorist activity?
2. If so, is Boko Haram involved or is there another group unknown to Nigerian Intelligence?
3. Who masterminded it?
4. What is the idea behind it?
5. Who is the enemy in this war?
6. What role did Aminu Gadzama play?
7. Who are the next targets?
8. Where did Aminu Gadzama train as a combatant going by the pictures of him on his facebook photo album showing him in training; dressed in combat and fully armed?
It is a matter of urgent imperative that Aminu Gadzama is brought in for questioning as he might provide the missing link in this historic investigation. Some well known personalities including a former minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode have expressed outrage and condemnation over his remarks.

Without any doubt, this statement of Aminu when juxtaposed with the organised jubilation in Kaduna by elements from Northern Kaduna following the confirmation of the death of the late governor reveals the desperation with which Gambari despots want to perpetrate their hegemony and the disdain with which they hold non-Gambaris. It shows that they can go to any length to eliminate anyone who they consider an obstacle to their satanic born-to-rule project – a project that has seen them ruling the Nigerian State for 39 years since 1960....directly and through their puppets, proxies and collaborators.

Incidences like this are replete in history. Bashorun MKO Abiola and June 12 readily comes to mind. Not only was his election annulled, he was eliminated through incarceration and assassination. But for the intensive struggle of the masses through the National Democratic Alliance (NADECO) and other broad based organizations..... a southerner of Yoruba extraction would not have been made President.

General Matthew Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo was imposed as President on us even when he was overwhelmingly rejected. As their old friend, they expected him to hold brief for them for four years while they come back in 2003 to continue their dynastic rule. Hardly did they know that their hegemony was sustained with state power and the absence of that meant that they would have to compete for power with others as equals. Obasanjo continued beyond 2003 and humbled the Gambari oligarchy by making the less likely of them, Umaru Musa Yar’Adua to succeed him.

Nevertheless, death came knocking on the door. Unfortunately, the desperate oligarchy got it wrong when they openly despised Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and prevented him from acting as President. As expected, the democratic forces rose up to the occasion with several protests across the land demanding for the swearing in the VP. Ever since, the Gambaris through their spokesmen have made promises upon promises that they were going to make the Nigerian State ungovernable and they have left no one in doubt that President Goodluck Jonathan is their target.

Finally, I have cause to believe that the helicopter crash was an attack from terrorists going by the jubilation of the Gambari bigots in Kaduna and the satanic vituperations of Aminu Gadzama.

However, I will not be in a hurry to conclude. I will wait, but not too patiently. The security forces and investigation teams must act fast by inviting for questioning; and investigating the background, activities and affiliations of Aminu Gadzama. This primitive arrogance and madness of the Gambaris must end now. A stitch in time saves nine.

Mujahid Abubakr Dokubo-Asari
